Surprise
Cocktail Party
 KUTA
- The crew of Singapore Airlines,
were hosted to a surprise cocktail
party when they arrived at The Bali
Dynasty Resort after their flight
to Bali. They were welcomed by hotel
management, staff and beautiful Balinese
dancers as a thank you for their support
to the hotel, and to celebrate the
airlines award. Mr.Gerald Tan, Bali
Manager for Singapore Airlines in
Bali, thanked the hotel on behalf
of the staff and commented that it
was a great Christmas present for

Cocktail
with Santa
 TANJUNG
BENOA - In conjunction to Christmas
Day, Bali Tropic Resort held a cocktail
party for in-house guests called
“Cocktail With Santa”,
The party was entertained by the
Tropical Voice Acoustic Quartet
and Santa Claus coming to distribute
gifts for the guests. Shown in the

Tourism
Attraction at Denpasar
 DENPASAR
– In conjunction with the effort
to increase visitors and to developing
tourism attractions in Bali, after
the recent bombing at Kuta and Jimbaran,
the Head of Denpasar Municipality
carried out a decorative “Jukung”
competition at Sanur Beach, Sunday
(18/12). The competition was attended
by 40 participants from several fishermen
groups at Sanur and the activity was
opened by the head of Denpasar Municipality,
IB Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra, S.E. The
competition raced for IDR. 7.500.000
and was divided into several categories
such as suitability, completeness,
speed, good appearance of drivers
and also how could they followed the

Table
Tennis Competition
 DENPASAR
– PKK motoring team at Denpasar
city, cooperated with The Branch Organizer
of the Table Tennis Association Indonesia
to hold a Table Tennis inter PKK in
Denpasar. The competition was aimed
to celebrate the PKK, Family Planning
Program, and National Social Solidarity
(HKSN) days. The activity was followed
by 13 teams with total prize money
of about IDR 11,8 million plus trophy
and charter. The fourth competition
took part from 22-24 December 2005
at SMPN 4 Denpasar Hall.

and New Year Security
 BADUNG
– The Regent of Badung Gde Agung,
The Head of DPRD Badung Gde Adnyana,
The Head of Denpasar Police Kombes
Dewa Made Parsana and Dandim 1611/Badung
Kol. Inf. Wahyu Sugandi held controlled
checking of security equipment at
the Ceremony Gelar Pasukan Pengamanan
Christmas 2005 and New Year 2006 at
Central Parking Kuta, Saturday (24/12).
The security program involved 1000
personnel from police, water and air
force members, Dalmas, tourism officers,
traffic officers, TNI AD, TNI AU,
pecalang, security, communication
services, fire extinguishers service,
Pamong Praja Police, Honorary polices,
balawista, Linmas, PMI Badung, district
equipment, all muspida and the head
