Waka Di Ume
Convenience and Peace

Taksu (inner power) of Ubud as the centre of arts and culture has been known since the arrival of foreign artists like Rudolf Bonnet, Antonio Blanco and many more. They mainly stayed and permanently lived, even married to local girl, in Ubud. It is inseparable from the existence of Ubud that since the very beginning has had taksu and Balinese rich cultural life.
All can be proved by etch lines of works of art that expressed onto canvas and those works are well maintained up to these seconds, even tend to grow rapidly. Existence of Waka Di Ume of which approximately 45% of its land is open green zone makes its atmosphere shady and convenient as surrounded by spread of vast rice field. When staying at Waka, you will discern the expanse verdant rice field from behind the room’s window of villa Di Uma. “Here, the natural atmosphere delivers comfort, serenity and peace,” remarked Duarta.
Waka Di Ume remains to become the choice of European, Asian, Australian and Japanese guests. According to Duarta, more than 25% of the tourists who stay at the hotel were repeater guests who came in-group for 2 to 4 times a year. Some came especially for holiday, while others came with specific purpose, like jointly meditation. They are mostly of group from Australia, America and Japan.
Duarta, the man who was born at Bukit Nusa Dua (1973) told that Waka Di Ume was totally founded by taking advantage local materials. Averagely, the room size is spacious, made with the blend of soft colours that decorates every single villa consisting of 11 lanais (standard), 11 villas and 4 suites. Duarta completed his education at Dhyana Pura Hotel School (1994) at Department of Accounting and English Department, Udayana University.
To give more satisfaction to tourists who stay there, Waka Di Ume is completed with restaurant with the main menu of Real Indonesian and Balinese food. Other facilities on offer are spa treatment service with natural ambience and various other facilities like Jacuzzi, spacious 2-couple bed private room, 1 steam room, 3 chairs for hand and foot treatment, massage, facial, aromatherapy, Lanang-Bagus ritual (special treatment for men) and some other special treatment for honeymooners.
