Exporter of Balinese Houses

The uniqueness of Balinese architecture, in fact, becomes distinguishing attraction to tourists. Balinese architecture is so distinctive is discernible from its style and materials reflecting natural impression. Other than taking advantage of wood growing in Bali like coconut trees, its roof also utilizes alang-alang grass or coconut leaf and comes to be a favourite to tourists. Proved, many tourists purchase Balinese house unit though its consignment cost is far more expensive than the price of the house itself.

One of the building types favoured is jineng that is normally used to retain paddy or rice. This jineng style then inspires the craftsmen to make new commercial building called gazebo.
Gazebo is usually used for relaxing at hotel or other resort living. On that account, many people now found making gazebo, as in Tuban. This house 'manufacturer' is named Dwipa. It was founded six years ago (2000) belonging to two brothers, Veri Andrianto and Tono Widodo. They employ 60 workers. They work everyday, especially when there are many orders. Within a month, this manufacturer can produce 20 to 30 units, sometimes reaches 60 units if many orders received.
One unit of gazebo is habitually completed within 2 weeks for large size (4 x 6 m) and 3 days for smaller one (2 x 2 m). Each unit (all sizes) is normally handled by two workers.
How is the making of it? In fact, it's not so difficult. First of all, make preparation on the materials liketimbers as the main material. There are two kinds of timbers utilized, namely bingkirai (from Kalimantan) and coconut tree from Bali and Sulawesi.
Every month, both timbers are prepared between 2 to 3 containers that purchased at IDR 65 million/container for bingkirai and IDR 35 million/container for coconut timber. The latter is easier to find as it does not requires permit from the authority for its cutting.
Other material is alang-alang grass for its roof, imported from Lombok. It's easy to find as this grass has quick harvest period (less than a year).
When all materials are ready, design of building is done in accordance with the order given. The order giver can select by himself the materials used for the building. "The next process is planning the timber and arrange them as the design," explains Veri Adrianto to Bali Travel News.
In terms of its size, the price of this Balinese building varies, starting from IDR 4.8 million (small size) to IDR 45 million (large size). Most orders are from France. Once order, this French guest purchases 60 units. At all times, they are taken advantage for resort house in his home country. Are you interested? Just come to Dwipa Gazebo & Alang-Alang Roof, Jl.
