Bali with Love"
NUSA
DUA - Meliá Bali Villas &
Spa Resort launched a new program
for a community involvement plan involving
students of Dwijendra junior high
school nearby the hotel and the children
from Meliá Bali staff. The
idea of the project is to send a warm
greeting to the guests that have been
visiting the resorts and remind them
to visit again. The project was carried
out since November 2005 - February
2006. The total post cards that were
sent were 5000. The cards were written
in English, Spanish, German. For the
children that wrote the post cards,
Meliá Bali donated Rp. 500.
- Total donation that the resort gave
was 2,5 Million Rupiah. With this
project, children are trying to be
encouraged to practice the language
that they learn from school. This
is also a good way to remind tourists
to come back to Bali as part of the
recovery program after the Bali Bomb
II in October 2005. (BTN/*)
