The ancestor of Balinese (Hindu) is really clever in looking for the location to build a holy place (temple). Just try to look at temples existed now, they certainly have beautiful panorama. For example, the Besakih Temple the biggest temple in Bali with Gunung Agung Mountain as its background. Also the Tanah Lot Temple that surrounded by ocean and farmland spread out in green. For the Balinese ancestor, build a holy building cannot be in anyplace. Some said that temple should be built based on pawisik. It means that before build the temple they hear mysterious voice as sign that the place is right to build a holy building. Believe or not the environment surrounding the temple certain has panorama full of magical value. But lately, the situation is a little bit different.
