Taiwanese
Interested in Balinese Culture
UBUD
- Taiwanese tourist, Mark Chen and
his wife who is from Tibet visited
Bali for the first time this month.
They were in Bali for about one
week. Mr. Chen and his wife were
interested in observing Balinese
culture while in this island. Probably
this is the reason why they visited
Ubud while in Bali. On their vision,
Balinese should be very fortunate
to be having such a nice culture.
In my country there is no
culture anymore every body
just works for money, he said,
when met Raka Dalem, the Vice Chairman
of the THK Tourism Awards and Accreditation
this month in Ubud. Mrs. Chen, meanwhile
mentioned that Bali faces the same
situation like Tibet. Preserving
culture in both countries is a big
job and needs hard work. (BTN/028)
