Sanur Festival, Good Event for Tourist

The Sanur Festival is a great event and very good for tourists, here we can see something different that belong to Bali, especially Sanur Village. Through the event we can see the other side of Sanur, because as you know Sanur has a nice beach but at this moment we can see their culture and art". It was said by Priscilla Van Der Lek and her friend Robin Tonnaer, when Bali Travel News meets them on the opening ceremony of Sanur Village Festival (25/8).
According to them the event should be a nice thing to promote Sanur as a tourist destination. But they think that the event was less promoted. "According to my view point, many pamphlets or posters about this event should be placed in strategic places. For example it should be placed in the tourism objects and also in public areas. It is important to do to successfully establish this great event" said Robin.
These tourists who live in Rotterdam-Holland said that they have blood relation with Indonesia, it because the father of Priscilla came from Surabaya, Indonesia. "This is our first trip to Bali and we love Bali because this place is paradise, I found friendly Balinese people and also interesting Hindu Culture" they utter.
They arrived in Bali last August 16 with two purposes. Beside of traveling, this couple, whose hobby is diving, also want to see the beauty of under water panorama of Bali island. "Actually at this moment we come to Bali besides traveling, we also come to Tulamben and Nusa Lembongan for diving is our hobby" said this young couple who have e-mail address at Priscilla_van_der_lek@hotmail.com .
Beside of giving good comments about Bali on that occasion they also give a positive suggestion "there are two problems: too many vendors in the tourism area and also rubbish, I think both problems sometimes make visitors feel uncomfortable" they said to Bali Travel News recently in Sanur. Love All About Bali

Calatti Patrizia and Maltagliati Luciano are from Italy and came to Indonesia on 11 August but first visited Papua, Irian Jaya for tracking and on 21 August they arrived in Bali. "Bali is a nice place and it can’t be compared with other places. It is because in Bali we found friendly and warm people with their unique architecture" explained this couple during the Sanur Village Festival.
"This is a very good festival. I can see the tradition that belongs to Sanur village. On the other hand I am also happy to see the beauty of the artists with nice costumes, lovely traditional music orchestra and also good performances," they added.
According to this couple, who were very busy taking pictures when the opening ceremony of Sanur Festival was held, they are feeling happy and love everything about Bali. " We love the people, sea, sand, temples, forests, food and everything in Bali" they said proudly. Actually they have a special place to visit in the north western part of this island, that is Lovina beach, but for this moment they are feeling sad because their lovely beach was not like on the first time they come to Bali. "Nowadays the situation in Lovina is different, especially the infrastructure was changed" they said in Sanur recently. (BTN/Rai)

Nice Small Bay

Nusa Dua is one of tourism areas that belong to Bali and attracts many tourists to visit. It attracted the couple Lebec Nadine and Daniel. In particular the calm of Nusa Dua beach and its small bay shape makes this a favorite place of this couple in Bali. "This small bay is our favorite place to enjoy the heat of the sun in Bali with the wide blue water and also the sparkling of the sand," utter this France couple.
They added that the small bay, that is exactly located on the backside of Bigexpo building, is a quiet and peaceful place. "When we come to Bali, we usually come and visit this place. Here, for a while we can feel peace and far from the crowded of city. In addition it also good place for sunbathing," they explained when sunbathing on the beach.
These tourists said that they have been very familiar with Bali and Indonesia generally. It is because they have come to Bali for the first time in 1978 and have visited almost all areas. "We like it so much with the Balinese tradition and of course the most important thing the people. But we don’t like Kuta with its big modern buildings", they said.

"Every year when we come to Bali, we go to Peliatan, Ubud special for watching Legong dance performance. Sanur is a quiet tourist destination that has been chosen by this retied couple to spend their old age. "My husband and I came to Bali five years ago. Why we chose Bali and especially Sanur? The answer is because Bali is good and nice place to enjoy the retired days," said this Belgium couple.
The couple who lives in Villa Laut said during their retired days they have arranged a nice schedule for traveling. Every Saturday they and a group named HHH II (Hash House Harries) conduct traveling to several sub urban areas to see the rice fields and this kind of activity is their favorite one.
When asked about the Sanur Village Festival which was held at Sanur Village, this woman said "Unfortunately I didn’t se the opening ceremony, I think this is an attractive event with good programs that are not only rich of culture but it is combined with several sport competitions," she explained while adding "for the sports competitions especially wind surfing, it is a great time to conduct it, because of the strong winds blowing now."
