Ayodya Resort Bali
New Name, Offering Distinctive Culture
of Bali
Effective of 31th August 2006, the name
of Bali Hilton International Hotel is renamed
into Ayodya Resort Bali. This name change
constitutes an initial stride of a passage
to present the real essence of a resort
more focusing on the Balinese local culture.
It was delivered by the General Manager
Peter O’Connor in a press conference
at Ayodya Hotel Bali, Thursday (31/8).
 Explained,
the name change is intended to satisfy the
demand of consumers on the hotel having
distinctive features with a similar touch
to that of international hotel chain. "Having
become the part of international chain hotel
for 15 years, we are confident that we have
the competence to operate independently
so it can give us freedom to become a unique
resort," he said.
Also added, Ayodya Resort is a new hotel
name as a presentation of Singgasana Hotel
and Resort, a real estate company and management
of some properties in Indonesia. "Ayodya
Resort will more introduce the concept of
hospitality and grandiosity of Balinese
culture. Hotel guests will be able to enjoy
the Balinese culture, art, tradition and
customary ritual that have become essential
part of Balinese community for centuries,"
he added.
Chief Operating Officer of the Singgasana
and Resort, Nisar Sungkar, said that his
party would put back the objective of the
resort in conformity with the initial vision
namely a resort with the touch of indigenous
Balinese style. For that purpose, his party
will carry out a gradual renovation. He
also added that the renovation will be commenced
at the main entrance gate, lobby area, restaurant
and garden. In addition, it will also be
completed with a museum and library within
the resort area so the guests can learn
more and enjoy the hospitality and grandiosity
of Balinese culture.
Observed, being independent, Ayodya Resort
will have more spacious movement area in
interpreting the grandiosity and hospitality
of Balinese culture into the form of services
extended to hotel guests.
