Love Again are themes that were
presented by 12 designers in Bali
on the fashion show at Hotel Sofitel
Seminyak Bali, Saturday (9/9). With
using Batik as the row material,
many kinds of attracting creations
from the super feminine up to the
super funky appeared on the event
entitled "Visionaries".
Many kinds of shape, design and
color was collaborated by the designers
who are come from the Asosiasi Perancang
Pengusaha Mode Indonesia that make
a good impression to the audience,
including Mrs. Mas Beratha, the
wife of the Balinese governor, who
is also the protector of this association.

– The bad situation of the
economy after the bombing tragedies
in Bali is because from the beginning
Bali just gave priority to the tourism
industry as an economic locomotive
in Bali. Actually there are other
sectors that should be developing
too like handicraft and agriculture.
Those points were said by KADIN
Bali (Bali Chamber of Commerce &
Industry) when meeting with journalists
in Denpasar, Thursday (7/9). The
meeting was held in the Kadin Bali
office and was attended by three
keynote speakers (from left to right)
Mr. Al Purwa, the member Advisor
Council of KADIN, Mr. Jaya Susila
(The Chairman Advisor Council of
KADIN) and Mr. Suparta Yuma (The
Vice Chairman of KADIN) who is handling
small & medium scale enterprise,

Bali Rani Hotel, Maria Lisa and
Anita Soentoro, Assistant Restaurant
Manager Thai Express Cuisine paid
a visit to Bali Travel News (BTN)
office, Tuesday (12/9). The visit
was in conjunction with the sponsorship
BTN Fun Bike, and also to announce
Thai Express Cuisine was opened
on last February. In addition it
also aimed to make good relationship
between the Bali Rani Hotel and
Bali Travel News as a tourism media.

Japan Visited Bali
KUTA
– Sachiko Fujita, Miss Japan
2005 made a visit to Bali with 30
people either journalists and tour
operators. During her two day visit
to Bali this Goodwill Ambassador of
Garuda Indonesia also visited several
tourism destinations like Bali Bird
Park, Museum Arma, and several hotels
in Ubud, Nusa Dua and Kuta. This five
days event was sponsored by PT Garuda
Indonesia and aimed to show to the
group the situation in Bali recently.
In addition Bali is also still a tourist
destination admired by the Japanese.
According to Fujita, Bali is a beautiful
island with its familiar people. During
her visit she promised to promoting
Bali in her country because she is
also an Indonesia Tourism Ambassador
in Japan. Hopefully the Japanese tourists
will increase visiting Bali and Indonesia
in general. Beside the visit to the
island of thousand temples, this family-trip,
held on (1-5/9), was also combined
with visiting other tourist destinations

– The Tri Hita Karana (THK)
Awards & Accreditations team,
Wednesday (6/9) was received by the
Regent of Tabanan, N. Adi Wiryatama
at his office. On that occasion, the
team who was lead by the subak (Balinese
irrigation cooperative) Expert, DR.
Wayan Windia explained about the planning
of THK Awards & Accreditations
2006, that will be held at the tourism
object Tanah Lot, Tabanan, next December.
Adi Wiryatama was welcoming and supporting
the program that will be held in his
region. "All events which be
held at Tanah Lot - Tabanan are very
potential to the recovery of Bali
tourism image," he utters while
giving an example of the successful
of ‘Tanah Lot International
Kite Festival’ recently that
gave a good image for Tanah Lot, Tabanan
as one of safe and peace world tourist

The
49th Anniversary of Malaysia
BADUNG
– The 49th anniversary of Malaysia
on 31 August was celebrated at Alam
KulKul Boutique Resort Kuta, Thursday
(7/9). The celebration was cheered
up by singing the national anthem
of Malaysia "Negaraku" and
national anthem of Indonesia "Indonesia
Raya". The ceremony continued
by cutting the cake by Datuk Zainal
Abidin Zain, the Malaysia Ambassador
for Indonesia who was accompanied
by the Malaysian Consul in Bali, Mr.
Faisal Hasyim and Assistant III Governor
Bali, Ir. Cahyanta. It was also attended
by the Ambassadors of neighborhoods
countries, travel agents and Malaysian
Students who are studying in Bali.
