Easy to Find Balinese Cakes at Star Rated

When
spending your holiday in Bali you will miss
something if you have not savoured the Balinese
succulent cakes. These light refreshments
have mouth-watering and distinctive flavours.
Its making is categorized to be unique as
it makes use of traditional manners. For
instance: the rice is pounded by using a
stone mortar and natural colouring agents
from plants are used as well. So it is this

Balinese

According
to Ida Ayu Apriyanti, the Public Relation
Manger, Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel Resort
& Spa, on every coffee break will prepare
two different kinds of Balinese cake on
offer. As a general rule, they are combined
with cheese and Balinese sugar. On the next
break, another kind of cake will be served
so you will never get bored. "There
are a wide selections of cake prepared in
order the guests will never be fed up,"
she told Bali Travel News.
Kinds of Balinese cake served consist of
the jaja bikang, lapis, bendu, pisang rai
and pisang goreng (fried banana). Besides,
it also provides additional servings such
as melinjo cracker, peanut and cendol (doughy
rice-flour droplets used in cold drinks
containing coconut milk). These cakes are
presented naturally, namely by means of
banana leaf as base and ornament of young
coconut leaf. "We’d like our
guests to really feel the atmosphere of
Bali," she uttered while admitted that
those cakes were made by hotel employees
under guidance of the Executive Chef, I.B.
Alit Suka.

cakes are served on particular occasions
such as the Bali Night, Cocktail Party or
function of special request. Its kinds also
vary like klepon, fried banana, pisang rai,
pulung-pulung ubi, bubuh sumsum, bubuh ketan,
giling-giling, bikang, dadar and bendu.
"We serve the cakes as per request,"
pronounced Sayang Mustika, the Human Resources
Manager of Griya Santrian.

Night scheduled on Wednesdays at Open Stage,
for instance, other than serving assorted
Balinese cakes, the programme is also graced
with Balinese traditional cultural show.
