Bali Tropic Resort & Spa
‘Foster Parent’ of Sangeh Tourist Object

Within the next few months, the Sangeh Ecotourism object will be conjured up by Bali Tropic Resort & Spa into an attractive and clean destination. The garden will be better arranged and many kinds of plants will be appended. In the meantime, the vacant land will be cultivated with local plants so its climate will be cooler and purer. By doing so, the presence of these new plants will not be bizarre to dwelling monkeys of this dense nutmeg forest. This was revealed on the socialization happening held by Bali Tropic Resort & Spa serving as the foster parent of Sangeh Ecotourism Object at the beginning of this October.
Sangeh is an ecotourism object relying on some tropical animals like monkeys, civets and snakes, as well as forest as its attraction. It is situated at Sangeh Village, Abiansemal—Badung or some 21 km north of Denpasar. It does not only draw the visits of foreign tourists but also domestic ones.
Nyoman Aryadana, Executive Assistant Manager of Bali Tropic Resort & Spa says that as a foster parent concerned about the environment, his party will start the programme by upgrading the landscaping at the entrance gate and the south and west areas. Pavements that are now looking all washed-up, will also be restored so it will make the visitors easier to get to location.
Improvement is not only undertaken for its physical property, but also for the competence of its human resources, particularly the cleaning service staff will be trained at the hotel. By doing, so the cleanliness enjoyed by visitors in hotels will also be found at Sangeh. "We will repair all tools for toilet cleaning and other mopping implements so they will be able to perform their job thoroughly," he says.
Observed, his party will renovate the depraved toilets totally. Even, the squatting closet will be replaced with sitting closet in compliance with international standards.
Eddy Soetjahyo (Andy), Communications Manager of Bali Tropic Resort & Spa added that to better promote the Sangeh object, having a total extent of 13,969 hectares, his party will take part in the promotions. It will be accomplished by distributing posters, brochures and information to every guest staying at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa. "We will extensively inform them about the Sangeh tourist object," he affirms.
In the meantime, Ida Bagus Dipayana, Chief of Sangeh Customary Village accompanied by I Made Sumohon, Operation Head of Sangeh tourist object says that there will be three sections that badly needs renovation. First, the space layout related to landscaping restoration; secondly, transformation management and thirdly, the promotions. "Current promotions are inadequate and we don’t know what to do to introduce Sangeh. Hopefully, Bali Tropic can extend significant assistance to reach the objective," he expects.
He also explained that the funds available to restore this tourist object are limited. Though the income obtained from the selling of entrance tickets is mostly allocated for the object, it does not suffice as there are too many places needing mending. "The assistance of Bali Tropic is highly welcome and we thank them very much for this," he says while adding that from the proceeds of ticket selling is 50% allocated for the object, 25% for the operator and another 25% for the regional government of Badung.
