“A Trilogy Concert”

DENPASAR –On December 22, 2006, Pelita Bangsa National Plus School celebrated Christmas and Mother’s day. The weather was good and all the children wore cute costumes and had smiles on their faces. The school celebrated both days by putting on a show where all students, from Playgroup to Primary, took part. Through musical drama, Christmas songs, games they expressed their enjoyment of school activities. In addition to the show a selection of primary students demonstrated Wushu, of one of their extra-curricular activities. As an extra bonus, the students got presents from Pelita Bangsa School’s own Santa Claus. After a great performance, Pelita Bangsa School’s students, teachers and staff left our first semester together full of joy, ready to meet the new year and new semester refreshed and ready for new challenges and fun.(BTN/*)


MOU Signing

DENPASAR—The Center for Study of Anti-aging Medicine together with the School of Medicine Udayana University in cooperation with the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine undertook the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the matters of research, education and development of anti-aging in Indonesia. According to Dr. Robert Goldman, Chairman of the American Anti-Aging Medicine, his party highly supported the cooperation and expected that it could advance the anti-aging medicine in Indonesia so the quality of life of the Indonesian people would be getting better. A similar viewpoint was also proposed by the Dean of School of Medicine, Udayana University, Mr. Dewa Pt. Widjana. He expected that the cooperation could become a center for study for those who would like to come along this discipline either from homeland or overseas. In years to come, it is expected that Bali will be known as a cultural tourism destination, but also as a health tourism destination. The signing ceremony took place at the School of Medicine, Udayana University, Friday (5/1) and was attended by physicians from this school. (BTN/rai)

The Oberoi 2006 Appreciation Night

Seminyak - Oberoi Resorts Indonesia was holding a Cocktail Reception at The Oberoi, Bali recently to appreciate the excellent support in 2006, received from valuable partners to The Oberoi - Bali & The Oberoi - Lombok respectively. Mr. Pierre Berclaz, the General Manager of The Oberoi - Bali and Mr. Marc Denton the General Manager of The Oberoi – Lombok, announced and handed the awards to the Top 10 Producers at each resort. Airtours Germany, Asia Voyages France and Trailfinders UK are among the top 3 partners of both resorts.
