At Kedonganan Beach:
Cafes to be Jointly Managed

The management of café’s through mutual investment by the residents of Kedonganan Village- Jimbaran is expected to generate some progress and improvement on the economy of the local community. Implementation of this system is thoroughly attractive and good because it means to provide even distribution of welfare to the locals.
This was stated by the Regent of Badung AA Gde Agung, accompanied by Division Head of Public Relations and Protocol I Putu Eka Merthawan, on receiving the Head of Kedonganan Customary Village Ketut Mudra, Village Head Made Widiana, Deputy Head of People’s Empowerment Institution Made Agus Arsana and Head of Village Credit Union Ketut Madra at the Office of the Badung Regent.
Gde Agung expects the buildings of the café’s will have aesthetical value and temporary foundations, so the area will become eco-friendly, clean and convenient for the visiting guests. Emphasized, the site plan should consider the matter of wastewater disposal in order not to pollute the surrounding environment, notably the area of Kedonganan Beach.
Gde Agung held up the recondition of cafes at Kedonganan Beach. This café recondition was expected to create an alluring, orderly, clean and aesthetical environment.
Mr. Ketut Mudra, observed that the 119 cafes would be demolished and reduced into 24 units. This was also reported by Made Widiana, who added that the operation of the 24 units of these cafes would be distributed to 6 hamlets (banjar) of which the allotment for each hamlet would be 4 cafes.
