Our Guests

Gisela & Frans de Carpentier
“Romantic Place”

Valentine’s Day indeed becomes a special day to these youngsters. However, are not mistaken though as this Dutch couple is no longer young, but they have a tradition that can be categorized into truly romance. “We celebrate Valentine’s Day in Bali. On getting up, I promptly give a kiss to my husband and say, “I Love You”. What’s more, few minutes later, a staff member of the Inna Grand Bali Beach, named Sudana, brought me a very alluring flower bouquet and that made me so impressed,” Gisela recalled.
As a matter of fact, Indonesia is an impressive place for this couple. “It was Indonesia that united our love,” revealed this returning guest of the Inna Grand Bali Beach. “Our favourite tourist object is the Uluwatu Temple. Its sea view along with huge waves is very romantic. But the most beautiful place is located near the Padang Bai. There lies a tranquil beach with its magnificent waves imbued with white sandy beach. Oh, … that’s so very romantic,” Gisela remembered.
In addition, Balinese culture also comes in as the striking attraction to this couple having e-mail address at decarpentier.sr@hetnet.nl. “I’m so impressed with the cremation ceremony performed in Bali. Even, they are willing spend a large amount of money for the deceased. And according to them, if they could present the best to the late, they will reap proportionate advantage. It is the difference of Bali from our country,” Gisela told Bali Travel News. (BTN/rai)

Naveen K. Madhudi & Family
“Hindu in Bali has Beautiful Life”

Holidaying and acquiring worthwhile experiences for a family evidently becomes a fascinating experience. It was undergone by an Indian family who permanently lives in America. “This is our first experience to spend holiday in Bali, despite some say that Bali is not secure. However, I was determined to come. Having arrived here, we feel secure and do not see any problem,” Naveen revealed.
Bali and India indeed have a strong cultural affinity from time immemorial, since the development of Hinduism here. “On that account, we would like to use this opportunity as good as possible by visiting temples in Bali and concurrently educate my children about Hindu,” he commented.
Making a visit to Bali, this father of two children is eager to know about Hinduism existing in Bali. He would like to teach his children that the Hindu community around the globe has different traditions. Diversity lies on tradition of the Hindu community in Bali, Nepal and India denotes an overly beguiling uniqueness to know. “Hindu in Bali has beauty life and it’s very interesting to see,” he added.
Hard Rock Hotel became the choice of these tourists to spend their five-day vacation in Bali. “Hard Rock is supremely pleasant, away from urban hullabaloo and its atmosphere is immensely absorbing,” commented the guest having the e-mail address at madhudink@corning.com (BTN/008)

Raymond
“Many Ritual Ceremony”

The Hindu community in Bali has numerous feast days that are accompanied with religious processions. It turns to be a momentous impression for Raymond, a tourist who now domiciles in Singapore.
Though he confesses to have visited Bali for three times, he never gets bored and is so impressed by the existing ceremonies. “Oh, I remember about that day, the ogoh-ogoh actually made me so scared. But, it’s very interesting and I have seen it for the first time in Sanur,” observed Raymond on being asked about the celebration of Nyepi in Bali.
According to Raymond, the first experience to relish the turn day of Nyepi New Year in Bali is thoroughly admirable. “On the Nyepi day, we are obliged to stay at the hotel, but we remain to be able to perform other activities within the hotel. Even though it’s uncommon, it’s exciting,” explained the man whose e-mail address at Raymond.tilippi@mail.com.
In addition, he has another unique experience, particularly on watching the ngaben procession in Gianyar. “I’ve never seen it in my country, it’s very different and unusual,” he said. “It’s a good tradition and actually strange for me. When the dead body is cremated, we could see it clearly.”
This tourist staying at Hard Rock Hotel also added: “One impression delivered by my wife is that Bali is now much cleaner than the last time we visited Bali and it’s different from other countries. I do not worry to be in Bali as its people are now friendlier”.
