Mr Roy and Mrs Margaret Whitelaw:
“Bali Becoming the Second Home”

For the couple from the land downunder, Australia, Bali is an unforgettable destination. They avowed, Bali is their second home. “Since 1985, I have gone to Bali twice a year,” said Mrs Margaret Whitelaw while adding that from that time onwards Bali remains a safe and convenient destination to visit. “Right from setting foot on Bali soil at Ngurah Rai Airport, I felt the peaceful aura of Bali.”
Furthermore, Mrs Whitelaw said that they have chosen Bali as their preferred holiday destination for the last 23 years. And now, this holiday is even more pleasurable since she retired from her service and visits Bali. “Since my husband retired, we continue to visit Bali for relaxing and luxuriating in the serenity of Sanur,” observed this smiling woman.
Why Sanur? Because this destination is so peaceful and quiet, so that it’s suitable for relaxing and releasing all mental burdens. Nevertheless, sometimes she also visits Kuta, Ubud and other destinations in Bali. “Oh, I love shopping so that’s why I usually come to Kuta and some shopping malls in downtown Denpasar,” she happily revealed while adding that they have truly fallen in love with Ubud. “We love Ubud, too. There are so many talented artists and art works to be found there. I usually purchase some art works like painting, handicraft and so forth before we return to Australia,” uttered the couple who has email address at magistrate@bigpond.com.
These repeat guests of the Inna Grand Bali Beach, where they have stayed since their first ever visit to Bali, disclosed that they are delighted with their hotel’s service. “We really love this hotel. We find all staff very helpful and very kind. Its environment is very clean and it has a wide, lush tropical garden. It’s a very nice place to stay,” she commented.
The couple confessed to having a preference for Balinese food such as Be Pindang (large preserved fish or meat salted without drying) and satay. “I love Be Pindang, satay, hot fried rice and fried noodles,” said Mr Roy Whitelaw.
“Oh, yeah, I also love to see Frog Dance. I ramble around here just to see this dance. The children who dance it are very talented and smart. On that account, I really like to see them dancing,” stated Mrs Whitelaw as the conversation ended. (BTN/008)

Mrs Mallery & Mr Malcolm Valencia:
“Coming to Bali Again and Again”

Cnother Australian couple has a different story. They also feel that Bali, chiefly Ubud, is a region that faithfully upholds its tradition. They are not astonished if Ubud is repeatedly made into a home of inspiration to both local and international artists. They also added that Ubud is a paradise. “Ubud and especially a resort where we stay is the paradise on earth,” uttered the tourist having email address at malavina@yahoo.com.au.
They decide on Kamandalu Resort, Ubud as their accommodation. This resort has excellent facilities along with natural and scenic countryside panorama.
Similarly, they are impressed by the resort’s staff who are so gracious and provided satisfying services for them. “All facilities, staff and most of the services extended are second to none.” they said.
On that account, there are no reasons that can deter them from coming to Bali and Ubud again and again. “Thank you Kamandalu...” they observed at the end of interview. (BTN/008)

Ms. Connie Profenna & Belinda Di Pietrantonio
Impressed with Spa in Ubud

The tranquil image of Ubud amid the picturesque and fresh countryside captured the hearts of Ms. Profenna and Belinda Di Pietrantonio, because the two tourists from Melbourne, Australia seemed to be reluctant to walk away from their favorite resort, namely Kamandalu Resort & Spa. “We’ve really enjoyed our time here,” they revealed.
More than that, the guests whose email address is ol.numawading@villeroy-boch.au also felt impressed with the services provided. Friendliness of the typical smile of Balinese people as well as their sincerity to always lend a hand becomes unforgettable experience for them. “It’s a gorgeous resort with gorgeous staff—the people are really beautiful, helpful and can’t do enough for us,” they said.
Besides, they also like to relax at hotel while taking one of the spa treatments and rejoicing in delicious food available at hotel. “The food is also amazing and we enjoyed all other aspects of the resort (definitely get some treatments done at the spa!). Thank you so much to everybody—we are going to miss you,” they said.
They want to come to Bali again as soon as possible and stay again in Ubud. “We will definitely recommend Kamandalu to all friends and family. We will come back as soon as possible,” they promised. (BTN/008)
