GWK “Peak-a-Boo” XC Challenge 2008:
Cross Country and Urban Downhill Bike Ride

A spectacular attraction for mountain bike enthusiasts entitled GWK “Peak-a-Boo” XC Challenge 2008 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 26-27 April 2008 at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Complex, Bukit Jimbaran, Bali. The Hillanders Bike Club, in cooperation with the GWK, organized this event to celebrate its first anniversary.

Other than the core event in the form of bicycle cross country taking place around the GWK complex, it will also carry out the Urban Downhill Bike Ride for the first time in Indonesia.
The location around the Jimbaran and Ungasan hill is a favorite track for mountain bikers in Bali due to its scenic panorama and the challenge it presents to pass through it.
Other activities that will be held to jazz up the event consist of the exhibition of bike community, charity bazaar, social activity and entertainment.
The GWK Cultural Park itself is a contemporary tourist object located in the territory of Jimbaran hill. It offers exotic nuance as an integration of architectural uniqueness and allurement of surrounding panorama at the southern coast of Bali Island. Only 20 minutes drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, this cultural park has become one of the tourist objects that visitors to Bali put on their agenda. (BTN/*)
