Pura
Batungaus
TABANAN
- Many Bali beaches are rich in
temples, some of which are qualified
as cultural preserves inviting a
lot of tourist visits. Some temples
even stand out to sea. Among these
temples are Pura Tanah Lot (Tabanan),
Uluwatu (Badung), Pulaki (Buleleng),
Rambut Siwi (Jembrana), Batubolong,
and Batungaus (Mengwi, Badung).
Batungaus temple is located in Banjar
Mengening, Cemagi Village on coral
reefs. It is a great place for meditation
because of the serene conditions,
broken only by the sound of the
waves. On the other side there are
terraced rice fields adding to the
attractiveness of this temple.
