Are you a wine lover? Try local wine with an international class. Certainly, it has different flavor because it is made from local superior grapes. Similarly, the manufacturing process also implements careful fermentation. Such a wine type was introduced to the public at Masé Restaurant & Wine Bar, Maca Villas & Spa Bali to the hobbyists of wine in Bali and foreign travelers, Thursday (July 3).
In the event, travelers and tourism players who liked to drink wine arrived. They came with a partner or with friends in the group. Accompanied by DJ music, the restaurant located on Jalan Lebak Sari No. 7 at Petitenget, Seminyak, became crowded. “We deliberately invite the wine hobbyists to taste local wine products that are not inferior to the existing wines,” said General Manager of Maca Villas & Spa Bali, Yoga Iswara.
Visiting travelers could not only have the opportunity to taste the excellence of local wine products for free, but could also gain knowledge about particular wine beverages. At the very least, they could get benefits and the making of wine at the event. “We want to share a variety of things with wine hobbyists. Therefore, we deliberately organize this event every week,” he said.
According to Yoga, wine was a healthier beverage than other types of beverages sold in general. On that account, it drew many wine enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the price soared up to four to five times of the actual price. “Well, this event is also an attempt to facilitate the price, so that it is affordable to all people,” he said.
Travelers who wanted to learn, explained Yoga Iswara, were specially guided by an officer. If the result was unsuitable, or inappropriate with the taste, they could process if further so that it can be in accordance with the flavor desired. “Selling wine is not our target, but rather a desire to educate, especially for our local communities,” he added.
A Canadian traveler, Zack with his partner said that he did not think if the local wine had more flavors. When he first came to Bali, he was very pleased with Balinese atmosphere, so they would come back. According to him, the wine product of Bali was very awful. “After tasting the delicious flavor, we want to see how to make it,” he admitted honestly. (BTN/015)
