Without special power of words, mushroom can be conjured up into a delicious cuisine. As a versatile ingredient, it could offer delightful flavor both in the standalone presence and in fusion with others. Its secret lies in the power of spices used. The following applies the combination of mushroom and chicken supported by various sliced tuber spices as usually used in Balinese cooking. Of course, with the touch of your skillful hand, these ingredients could exude more powerful flavor.
Ingredients: 200gr mushroom and 250 boneless chicken lemongrass, 2 pcs kaffir lime leaf, 1 pc salam leaf, 1 slice ginger, 1 slice turmeric, l slice galangal. Others: l tsp salt, % tsp sugar, l tbsp palm oil and banana leaf to wrap + bamboo pin (semat) Garnish: sliced kaffir lime and its leaf. Method: 1. Shred the mushroom, while chicken is sliced (or boiled tirst and then shredded). 2. Mix all spices together and added with salt, palm oil and sugar as flavoring. Afterward, knead this batter until pliant. 3. Then, mix the spices with chicken and mushroom evenly, Take two tablespoonful of the batter, and wrap by banana leaf and then fix it by bamboo pin.
