The Tanah Lot 3 Days Event held at Tanah Lot tourist destination on November 1-3, 2012, is ascertained to take place festively. Aside from showcasing a variety of Tabanan typical arts, such cultural event also presents a culinary exhibition. Various kinds of traditional cuisines will be presented to jazz up the happening.
Operations Manager of Tanah Lot Destination, I Ketut Toya Adnyana, said the culinary exhibition would feature delicious specialties wonderfully presented by the people on Island of the Gods. Some of them were rice bag served with peanut sauce and assorted vegetables, manila duck lawar, rice with roasted suckling pig, seafood satay, lizard satay, roasted corn and some others. “Klepon as typical fresh cake of Tanah Lot is regularly presented and more introduced,” he said.
In this culinary exhibition, explained Toya, his party provided 12 stands. They were located in the west track or west of Wantilan Hall of the outermost courtyard of Tanah Lot Temple and very close to Batu Bolong temple. All the traders were the community of Beraban customary village. “This exhibition will give information that Tanah Lot does not only offer natural beauty, but also the rich treasure of culinary tradition,” he added.
