Yummy… Mushroom Satay

Yummy  Mushroom SatayHave you ever taste mushroom soup? I bet you do but have you ever try mushroom satay? It is very delicious. Long time ago, the dish made from mushroom often being eaten by the famers in the village. It is very easy to get and easy to make. In addition to the delicious taste, mushroom is also good for your health. Mushroom has high antioxidant which can improve our blood circulation and reduce the possibility of cancer or tumor. It also can prevent heart disease.   

 

Satay made from mushroom is not easy to be found. Nowadays, there are only a few people who can make it. Not to mention that a good mushroom is hard to get. In Denpasar, there is a place that serves mushroom satay. The name of the place is Warung Pondok  Sate which is located in Nangka Utara Street. Many mushroom lovers come to the place to eat.

The dish which is made by Komang Sugiantara is very delicious. It is usually accompanied by soup and rice. To make mushroom satay, first the mushroom must be cleaned then cut it around 1 centimeter. After that, boiled using the traditional Balinese spices called Base Gede. It will give special flavor to the mushroom. Then, the mushroom placed on the stick and grilled. After it is ready, the satay will be served using satay spices made from chili, bean, garlic and sugar.   The dish is very delicious so everyone should try it. (BTN/015)
