Students, faculty and alumni of the Indonesia Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar organized a painting exhibition in the Kriya Hasta Mandala Building of the local campus. The exhibition held in conjunction with the welcoming to the Ninth Anniversary and Tenth Graduation of the ISI Denpasar showcased 129 works of art. They consisted of 74 paintings, 12 sculptures, 5 crafts, 9 visual communication designs, 9 photographs and 11 fashion designs.
In the exhibition entitled “The Active Role of Alumni in the Framework of National Character Implementation” each work had its own uniqueness such as the painting, photography, sculpture and craft, while the latest was the collaboration of ceramics and fashion design. All the artworks were nicely arranged and displayed so that the exhibition space turned beautiful.
The exhibition opened by the Rector of ISI Denpasar, Prof. Wayan Rai, Thursday (Jul 26) lasted for a month.
Deputy Rector, Ketut Murdana, said the activity was one of the forms of good synergy between the alumni, faculty, and students of the ISI Denpasar. Good cooperation ties among the big family of the ISI Denpasar were expected to produce a better work of art. (BTN/015)
