Five years ago, the area of Kelabang Moding at Ubud Village was not widely known, but with the visionary instinct of the couple Mr. John Morrey with his wife Jackie Morrey from Australia, the area has become so famous.
According to them, at that time it was an appropriate place to build an accommodation, leisure spot for hard workers who wanted to leave their routines for a while, get relaxation and rejuvenation. Likewise, the place also offered a high privacy to visitors.
“With the location perching on the slope at the angle of almost reaching 45 degrees, two architects consisting of Nyoman Myoga and Mande Sudarta have superbly established the Bidadari Private Villas in harmony with the environment,” said John Morey. In fact, such condition was indeed a convenient and perfect accommodation.
The six existing villas were located on a winding ridge down to the Wos River. Such luxurious villas were surrounded by stunning lush tropical gardens offering a unique nuance of Balinese architecture. It offered magnificent view denoting an artistic and perfect blend of landscape with coconut trees and exotic scenery of Wos River lying beneath.
“Officially, this place has been operated since October 2010,” added Diana Rana entrusted to fill in the position as General Manager of Bidadari Private Villas. The presence of these villas added the options of accommodation for tourists who wanted a relaxing atmosphere and the harmonious blend with nature. It was a perfect sanctuary for individuals and families or anyone who wanted to relax and indulge themselves with the facilities available. Indeed, it also offered a romantic life within a very magical village of Ubud and Balinese cultural nuance.
So far, the largest market share of Bidadari Private Villas & Retreat was still predominated by Australian tourists and Asian honeymooners. Those who had lived in this hideaway would comment: “Wow, the Bidadari is easy to find but hard to leave.” It was not a nonsense story, but a profound expression of tourists who had deep impression due to uniqueness of the place, facilities and friendly services extended by staff.
“The phrase of ‘easy to find, hard to leave’ is submitted by travelers who have stayed with us and it is inseparable from what we have provided for them namely convivial service with Balinese nuance as well as natural environment of Bidadari aside from the a good cooperation established between the owner and 15 staffs who are mostly from Ubud,” said Rana.
Due to the superiority owned by Bidadari Private Villas and based on preferred choice of comments made by travelers staying in the property, in this year 2012 the TripAdvisor provided star rating criteria of 4.5 in the scale of 5 stars and awarded a Certificate of Excellence, even as a Winner 2012.
