In conjunction with the 24th anniversary of the Bali Tropic Resort and Spa Nusa Dua, the Bali Post and Bali Travel News (BTN) under the management of Bali Post Group held a gathering and a visit to local hotel. The visit represented by the General Manager of the BTN, Gde Palgunadi, was accompanied by several staff and greeted warmly by the Director of Sales & Marketing I Gusti Made Sudiarsa, Executive Asst. Manager Gunawan Cahya Utama and owner Dr. (HC) Jro Gede Karang Tangkid Suarshana.
On that occasion, Gde Palgunadi looked to provide motivation and encouragement to the hotel owner in order he remained to be given the health and smoothness. “Our coming here coincides with the anniversary of the Bali Tropic. So we come to maintain relationship while providing congratulations for the anniversary,” he said friendly. Meanwhile, Gede Karang Tangkid who was wearing a plain white shirt and trousers welcomed the visit of Bali Post Group amicably. “Thank you for coming and visiting,” he said.
Before he left the hotel, the Bali Post also handed over a memorabilia in the form of facial painting of Gede Karang Tangkid as the owner of Bali Tropic who is also known as the pioneer of hotels in Tanjung Benoa area. The anniversary event taking place at the night was started with a welcome speech from the owner, followed by the cutting of rice cone. The event was also jazzed up with live music and performances by staff from each department. “We also prepare 120 door prizes to be drawn for the invitees including motorcycles, household appliances, prizes and other attractive packages,” said Made Sudiarsa.
He said that before the anniversary event was held, there were some social activities such as community service held in the Dalem Temple of Bualu customary village and contributed to the poor at Troro customary village. “The series of anniversary is also characterized with fun games such as bed making competition and the making of leaf and gebogan.
