The Bali Travel News (BTN), a tourism biweekly tabloid under Bali Post Media Group, celebrated its 15th anniversary on Wednesday (Dec 4). The celebration was commenced with a joint worship attended by the staff of Bali Post and BaliTV in the outermost courtyard of the Dalem Kreti Buana Temple. It was also attended by invitees from hotel staff and restaurants in Bali.
Celebration of the anniversary taking place in familial atmosphere was marked with the cutting of rice cone, joint dining and suave session between families of Bali Travel News and the invitees. The celebration was also attended by the CEO of Bali Post Media Group, ABG Satria Naradha. “On this 15th anniversary, we indeed cannot do much. However, we will always strive optimally and not cease to contribute to the world of tourism in Bali,” said General Manager of Bali Travel News, Gde Palgunadi.
The invitees consisted of Bali Tropic Resort and Spa, Wapa di Ume, Puri Gangga Sebatu, Bebek Tepi Sawah, The Sungu, Inna Grand Bali Beach, Inna Sindhu Beach, Furama Villas & Spa, Monkey Forest Tourist Attraction, Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC), Grand Inna Kuta, All Seasons Legian, Aston Denpasar, Bounty Group, Avilla Hospitality, Rama Garden, Santika Siligita and Waterbom Bali.
Prior to celebrating the anniversary, BTN conducted a series of events such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the form of cleanup service at Batukaru Temple that would continue to be held every three months at different locations. In addition, the BTN also held a small discussion by involving tourism practitioners. The discussion covered the topic entitled Ten-Dollar Heritage Donation becoming a controversy in the realm of tourism in Bali. (BTN/Ocha)
