There is nothing new at the Inna Sindhu Beach Hotel, Resort & Meeting. Having accomplished the refurbishment to some rooms, the hotel located in the heart of Sanur tourism area is now led by the new General Manager, namely IGK Ayu Ariani. Ariani, so she is called, is no longer a stranger to the tourism in Bali. Previously, this woman born in Denpasar on May 6, 1963 has been working in the same group of company, namely at the Inna Putri Bali which will be renamed into Innaya and the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel, Sanur.
Since appointed as of September 1, 2014, the alumni of the College of Management Studies (STIMI) majoring in company management has been willing and committed to develop the image of the Inna Sindhu, for example, starting from the smallest things. Among them, they include the appropriate greeting in Balinese culture, reduction of complaints and improvement of team work compactness.
In addition, said Ariani, the existence of the hotel was very important. On that account, she would still keep the reputation, quality and hotel facilities “With the team, I will always make a comparison to other hotels in order to know what are the advantages and disadvantages needing to be developed,” said the hobbyist of recreation and trekking.
All the development done is for the convenience of guests, boss, employee, community and one’s self. To her, guest was not a king, but a friend. In this context, guests needed to be loved, respected and treated decently so that they were comfortable. “Whether guests are first comers or repeaters, we must give them a good attention,” she said.
Similarly, the employees should be treated so. According to Ariani, they also needed to be considered and given skill improvement such as by giving training and self-development. Meanwhile, people in the immediate surroundings should also be good. There was a need to make a meeting with community leaders to realize the kinship. “We will organize an environmental cleanup with the community including the sanitation, safety and security,” she explained.
In the future, hoped Ariani, Inna Sindhu could provide the best services for guests, innovative and creative performance so that her party could provide something new and different each year. “Our guests are mostly European so that I try to expand the market and the Inna Sindhu can be increasingly recognized by wider public,” she concluded.
