Smile, smile... and smile again. Such a sweet face is always showed off by Ana Dewi Permana. Although she is quite busy, this sweet woman serving as Deputy General Manager of the Bali Safari & Marine Park (BSMP) does not get bored to say hello to greet her guests. “Giving a smile is a part of service,” she said with a smile.
Moreover, the BSMP will run the spouse program, a task of serving the spouse of the heads of state attending the APEC meeting in Nusa Dua commencing in October 2013. On that account, everything should be well prepared. “The BSMP is appointed directly by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) to serve the first ladies from different parts of the world,” she said. The visit of first ladies will be conducted on October 7, 2013. To provide security to the VIPs, the BSMP will close the region to public for two days (Oct 6-7). “We do apologize to customers for the inconvenience,” she begged.
According to the former Public Relations of Sofitel Seminyak Bali (now The Royal Beach Seminyak Bali), the task was given after the president visited the BSMP and watched the Bali Agung show. The first ladies would see the show of Bale Agung highlighting the love story of Kang Ching Wi and have lunch at the grandest restaurant at the location.
Regarding the preparation, Ana said that aside from improving the show of Bali Agung, her party also performed a variety of arrangements ranging from the landscape, flower gardens and the sanitation of the area. “Starting from the lobby to the Thursday Theater is transformed into Balinese village with ancient atmosphere. In once visit to the BSMP, they can see a complete Balinese culture,” she said. Aside from featuring the story of Balinese Hindu and Chinese acculturation, the reliable artists, staging art and lighting that comply with the quality of international standards makes it an interesting work of art.
