Bali View Rafting (BVR) became one of the favorite destinations for tourists during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday. The water sport which is located in Telaga Waja River, Karangasem is giving a chance for the tourists to refresh their mind.
“During the last holiday, we run out of boats. This is because the high number of visitors,” said the Commissary BVR I Nyoman Menteg not long ago. The high number of visitors can be seen started on Sunday, December 12, 2012 or two days before Christmas. The visitors were dominated by domestic tourists who were commonly from companies spending their holiday in groups or with their families.
According to Menteg, the locals are also started to like rafting. In one day, the number of Indonesian who enjoy the water sport is far more then the foreigners. “Many companies choose BVR started from hotels and others,” Menteg explained.
Among the water sport in the area, BVR is the leading company started from the facilities, service up to the quality. The starting point which is located in a flat area is very different from other rafting. Furthermore, the international standard boat driven by skillful guide will give great experiences while cruising through river in Karangasem and Klungkung Regencies.
“The crowded condition usually happens on July or August, during the holiday season. They will be treated like a king because we will pick them up and take them back to the hotel,” he added. In one day, BVR prepares two trips, at 10 through 12 am and 1 through 2 pm. (BTN/015)
