Banyuwangi, the Sunrise of Java

According to the narrative of the Regent of Banyuwangi, H. Abdullah Azwar, to Bali Travel News, Banyuwangi was developing the tourism based on ecotourism concept. Diamond triangle of Plengkung G-Land, Ijen crater and Sukamade were still spearheading destinations to draw tourists.  Additionally, there was also a multi-cultural society of Osing, the native to Banyuwangi. Likewise, enjoy the graceful dance of Gandrung.

“We will welcome the tourists to Banyuwangi with all the hospitality becoming the distinctiveness of this region,” said Regent Azwar.

Its proximity to Bali, he added, would be optimized as an advantage to more intensively promote Banyuwangi. In the eyes of tourists, Banyuwangi indeed had its own place, especially for tourists with special interests.
