Aside from domestic and foreign tourists, the tourist destination located at Beraban village, Kediri subdistrict, Tabanan is also chosen by numerous local people to relax. Such condition also occurred on Umanis Galungan, Thursday (Mar 28).
Based on data of the local authority, the number of tourist visits on Umanis Galungan in March 2013 reached 8,626 people. Meanwhile, on the Umanis Galungan Day in August 2012, the visit only reached 5,983 people, so it showed an increase of 30.46 percent.

“Foreign tourists want to see the Hindu community in Bali performing various rituals during the Galungan. In contrast to domestic tourists from outside Bali, they generally come in groups by bus,” said the Operations Manager of Tanah Lot tourist attraction, I Ketut Toya Adnyana.
On welcoming the Galungan, said Toya, Tanah Lot management did not prepare special attraction for tourist. They just spent their time by lounging in the lower garden heading for the Tanah Lot Temple. “Such a situation usually lasts until the Kuningan celebration,” he explained. (BTN/015)
