Ulun Danu Beratan tourist attraction located at Candi Kuning village, Baturiti, has now had a new management office. The office as a medium to provide maximum services to tourists was inaugurated by the Regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti on Saturday (Oct 19) marked by the signing of inscription and ribbon cutting. However, before being inaugurated, the management implemented pemelaspasan or inauguration ritual which coincided with the full moon on the fourth month in Balinese calendar.
Regent Eka said the management office of the Ulun Danu Beratan tourist attraction had been transformed into a very magnificent one. On that account, she immediately reminded that with the new management office owned the service provided could be improved. “Now, the office is no longer vile, but has been magnificent. I do hope with the new office the administrative services as well as communication could go well,” said the regent. The management should be able to increase the services to tourists. Moreover, recently it won the best category in Indonesia for the Cipta Pesona Award competition. Safety and comfort of visitors should absolutely given priority so that visitors could feel homey at the Ulun Danu. ”Ulun Danu Beratan has been well ordered. Seven-charm (Sapta Pesona) principles must be maintained for the sake of tourist satisfaction, so that it could increase the tourist arrival,” she said.
Operation Manager of the Ulun Danu Beratan tourist attraction, Wayan Mustika, said the establishment of the management office was aimed at creating a good and professional service, so as to provide a sense of comfort and safety for tourists. The office development had been planned since January 2013. Funds for the office construction amounted to IDR 1,426,141,000. Aside from the office development, the management also made the object arrangements with the total spending of IDR 5.4 billion. The arrangement included the construction of 33 units of art shop, restaurant renovation and construction along with the inventory. Besides, it also covered installation of CCTV, pavement and hardening to parking space.
As a follow-up to participate in the Cipta Pesona Award, his party also performed an infrastructure improvement such as to local garden, tour guide room, ticket counter and gutter as well as re-arrangement of visitor traffic namely by the making of the entrance and exit path for visitors. “Similarly, it also included a special track facility for the disabled.
