This regency has a complete range of tourist attractions, which the Regent, Anak Agung Gde Agung S.H., has been trying to develop even further. In the southern part of Badung there are many beautiful beaches such as Nusa Dua, Kuta and Canggu, as well as the well developed Kuta tourist area. Another tourist attraction which can be found in Badung regency is the mountainous area that is located on the northern part, which is home to agro-tourism and fishing areas. Old temples in Badung include Sada Kapal temple, Taman Ayun Mengwi temple which was built during the Mengwi Kingdom, Petinget temple which is located Kuta, Luhur Uluwatu temple which was built by the Hindu priest Danghyang Nirartha. Badung also has a forest, Sangeh, where people can see many monkeys. Another attraction in Badung is the camping site, which is called Abiansemal village.
